Description
The Lead Endpoint Security Architect (EIP) translates business needs into technical security strategies, architecture, systems solutions and roadmaps for various endpoints deployed at Humana. The Lead Endpoint Security Architect provides strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s).
Responsibilities
The Lead Endpoint Security Architect role is responsible for leading architectural activities, providing expert technical knowledge and hands on proficiencies with endpoint security solution design, development and deployment as well as providing input and oversight to other related activities from a security perspective. The Lead Endpoint Security Architect will work with stakeholders and industry experts to understand and build an alignment on the various architectural technology standards. This role will also apply enterprise security architecture governance over solutions that provide technical capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Work with various stakeholders to build an enterprise alignment around endpoint security strategy, standards, architectures, roadmaps, and terminology using TOGAF and/or SABSA methodology.
Facilitate the creation of clear, concise, and easy to access technology standards to provide engineering teams with tactical direction for achieving the enterprise security strategy. Clearly communicate and evangelize the value associated with adhering to the security strategy and corresponding standards.
Create visibility and build awareness of the gap between current state security implementation versus future state architecture and advocate for gaps to be filled.
Provide pro-active advice/guidance regarding endpoint protection optimization (including platform, security policy and improvements to operational & governance processes).
Ensure seamless governance is applied to various engineering teams who are building technical capabilities. This work includes ensuring engineering teams understand the endpoint security architecture standards to which they must adhere, guiding engineering teams through the Technology Review Board and Architecture Review Board processes and participating in technology evaluations.
Required Qualifications
Comprehensive experience with Windows, Mac and Linux desktop operating systems and mobile devices.
Advanced proficiency and expertise across multiple technical areas and business segments including, but not limited to: internet, identity and access management, data/information management, network, mobile, enterprise applications and solutions architecture all with a strong focus on endpoint security and integration with SIEM and threat intelligence technologies.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or related relevant experience
10 years of experience architecting security requirements on the endpoints.
Ability to partner within and across teams to gain consensus and enable change
Ability to influence stakeholders
Ability to drive tasks to completion
Strong communication skills for creating and sharing presentations to multiple levels of audiences of stakeholders - i.e. senior executives in business and IT, architects, developers, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Negotiation and mediation skills
Experience with IoT and/or IoMT device security.
