About the role
KWM’s Technology Projects team is a friendly, thriving and collaborative environment, headed by an approachable leader who is focused on team development and success.
As a Technology Project Manager, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, including oversight of scope, schedule, financials, reporting, resources, project delivery, and risk and issue management. Solutions will align to business strategy and be delivered on time and on budget.
Your key stakeholders will include the firm’s other Shared Services groups, Technology team members and Legal business units to confirm project scope, identify business requirements and develop and deliver solutions. Change management and the ability to influence stakeholders is critical.
This opportunity is offered on an initial 12 month contract basis. We are open to candidates based in Sydney or Melbourne for this role.
What experience are we looking for?
Essential
Industry certification (Prince2, PMP etc)
Bachelor’s degree in computing related field
5 years information technology project management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to engage and build professional relationships with people at all levels of the organisation
Ability to manage priorities and time in accordance to schedules
Skills and Abilities (Desirable)
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities effectively
Experience working in a demanding corporate or professional services environment
Understanding and consistent application of project management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk and issue management, procurement, integration testing and implementation
Strong business acumen to understand the ‘why’ and strategic thinking skills
Ability to communicate clearly with multiple levels of stakeholders
Previous experience working with business and technology stakeholders to deliver various types of technology solutions
