) is an established, profitable web site that receives over 5 million unique visitors per month. We're looking for strong web developers to join our team to refactor and improve our existing code, add functionality, and monitor and improve performance and scaling as we grow.

We are a small, nine person team, operating as an independent subsidiary of CitySearch. We control our own technology roadmap, processes and resources, and are building one of the most highly trafficked Ruby on Rails sites. As a team, we have chosen to follow agile software development disciplines and so should you. Ideal candidates will have first-hand experience with, and be able to articulate thoughtful opinions about TDD, iterative and collaborative development, and the relative merits of specific agile methodologies.

This is a full time permanent salaried position for local candidates only. Consultants or contractors will not be considered.

Skills we're looking for:

3 years of web application development (Rails would be ideal)

Experience with TDD/BDD

Experience working on and/or leading agile teams

Strong SQL

Passion for a good online customer experience

Pluses:

MySQL or Postgres

Solr / Lucene

Client-side JavaScript development

SEO knowledge
