New Relic's IAM Platform team in the product group is looking for an experienced technology leader to develop a team responsible for helping build from ground up the next generation of authorization stack!
The Identity and access management (IAM) platform teams are responsible for the secure and reliable access for fast growing New relic customer base. Besides providing them rich authentication experiences for sign-up, SSO and federated user management, it provides an authorization platform which can provide a very fine grained access control creating sharing experiences
What You'll Do
Recruiting and developing engineering talent for a high-productivity, and distributed, full-stack team
Engineering the next generation access control system capable of processing millions of access policy decisions in a second.
Working closely with Architects and researchers on the technical details
Your Qualifications
Must-have:
3 years of proven track record leading self-directed remote teams in a fast-paced environment
Capable of digging into and understanding the technical implications and risks of a decision
Experience managing on-call rotations, dev-ops practices

Know how of authorization models and understanding of authentication (SAML, SSO, Claims, Tokens)
Nice-to-have:
Knowledge on distributed systems and high throughput processing systems
Knowledge about RBAC, ABAC and the scale factors associated with that.
